Applying one (or more) key terms from Chapter 6, analyze one area of your research site in terms of that key term. Some terms may include performativity and habitus. How does your previous research work with these new terms in clarifying how your research site constructs itself? Do you see similarities to other terms? How are they different (even subtly)?
In the site I am using the main idea of the site is to post pictures and messages. The site is set up in a way that is appealing to thoes that belive themselves to be "guidos". In the site the term that is show alot is the idea of performativity women are shown to be essinatially "sluts" and the men just seem to use offensive words. The site constructs its self in a way that is simple good for the simple minded. This site is so simple that no other terms go with it. It is a picture site with bad words.
